Dr hab. n. med. Grażyna Kamińska-Winciorek, profesor Narodowego Instytutu Onkologii

A specialist in dermatology-venereology. Currently, she is the head of the Skin Cancer and Melanoma Team and works at the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Onco-Hematology at the National Maria Skłodowska-Curie Institute of Oncology – National Research Institute in Gliwice. Grażyna Kamińska-Winciorek is a board member of the International Dermoscopy Society, a member of the Melanoma Academy committee, a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, as well as the European Academy of Oncological Dermatology and the Melanoma World Society. Moreover, in 2006–2008, she acted as a member of the Advisory Committee of the International Society of Teledermatology. Since 2018, she has been the founder and chairwoman of the Dermoscopy and Other Skin Imaging Techniques (DiTOS) Section of the Polish Dermatological Society.

For almost 20 years she has been involved in dermoscopy in clinical practice and scientific projects. She is the author of one of the first original monographs published in Poland titled Digital Dermatology devoted to dermoscopy and teledermatology. In addition, she is the author and co-author of chapters in medical books and over 150 scientific publications, which focus on dermoscopy in the diagnosis of skin diseases and skin toxicity related to oncological therapy and cutaneous graft-versus-host disease, among other topics.

 

Prof. dr hab. n. med. Lidia Rudnicka

She is the president of the International Trichoscopy Society and a member of the presidium of the International Dermoscopy Society. She is the head of the Dermatology Clinic of the Medical University of Warsaw and the president of the Polish Dermatological Society.

Prof. Lidia Rudnicka gained experience in many research centers and institutions, including the Food and Drug Administration (USA), University of Liège (Belgium), and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia (USA). She is the author or co-author of over 200 articles and book chapters. Her main scientific achievement is a huge contribution to the development of trichoscopy. It was she who in 2006 introduced the term "trichoscopy". He is the editor of the publication Atlas of Trichoscopy. Other areas of interest and scientific achievements include the treatment of hair disease, systemic sclerosis, melanoma, psoriasis, and lichen planus.

Lidia Rudnicka was the chairman of the working group for poster presentations of the Posters Exhibit Task Force of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a deputy editor of the Journal of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology and a section editor of the Dermatologic Therapy journal.
